Thanks to Volunteer Teddy Gudis, who has raised 325 dollars for Send a Child to School. His efforts will fund almost three full tuition scholarships in the upcoming year.

On January 26th, the students at the Herald School celebrated Republic Day which commemorates the date on which the Constitution of India came into force as the governing document of India in 1950.

We are happy to announce that for the second year, Alex Navarro has been awarded the 2011 Prudential Spirit of Community Distinguished Finalist Award for SEND A CHILD TO SCHOOL. This award represents the commitment of all our volunteers to continue to help needy children in Hyderabad, India.

Congratulations also to Roman Green for receiving another $120 scholarship donation.
