Pie Fundraiser Sends One More Child To School

Thanks to volunteer, Nick DePalermo, for coming up with the idea to sell pies at two of our high school football games. We were able to sell enough pies to raise $150 more than the amount needed to cover the tuition for one child to attend missionary school in Hyderabad. Thanks, also, to Wendle Maynard, of Maynard's Farm, for supplying the pies and donating $5 for each pile sold. We are also added a few new volunteers to our team and look forward to reaching our June 2011 goal of raising funds for 50 additional tuition scholarships.
