August: Raised $800 to send 6 new kids to school!

Our August tag sale was a big success and raised over $800 in sales and donations, enough to cover tuition for almost 7 kids to attend the Herald School, our missionary school in Hyderabad, India, for an entire year. Thanks to everyone who supported the event. Also in August, the Herald School celebrated Independence Day with traditional Indian music and dances performed by the students in every grade. This month, we welcome, Nicole Bugante, a senior at Mount St. Mary's College in California, as Send A Child To School's new social media director. Nicole brings a wealth of networking experience to our team and will be a big help in getting the word out about our cause. Check out our new twitter page at twitter.com/sendkids2school.
Much thanks, also, to Scott Trenholm, CPA and Partner at CCR LLP for generously donating accounting services. Without the help of our donors, volunteers and corporate sponsors, we could not allocate 100% of our donations for tuition and school supplies.
